THE ARTS SOCIETY CHIPSTEAD

The Arts Society Chipstead

is the local society of The Arts Society covering not only Chipstead but also Banstead, Nork, Woodmansterne and the surrounding areas.

We are a friendly group with a membership of 320. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month (except July and August) in the Banstead Community Hall for coffee at 9.50 am followed by a lecture.

Our speakers are drawn from a directory maintained by The Arts Society and they are all experts in their own specialist field of the decorative or fine arts. In addition to our monthly meetings we organise study days, coach outings to historic houses, art galleries and places of interest associated with the arts. From to time short group holidays are arranged for trips of four or five days further afield.
