Northumbria Holiday 2026
Our intrepid travellers have returned from their adventure to Northumbria! There has been much discussion over the past few years about whether or not a visit to Northumbria was a step - or a journey - too far! We decided to give it a try AND it really was worthwhile. What an amazing area. The countryside is so beautiful, the history fascinating and the people kind and welcoming. We visited National Trust Properties, Art Galleries, Holy Island, Durham Cathedral and had an exhilarating boat trip where we were entertained by some seals who seemed as interested in us as we were with them. We had a great time and I would certainly recommend Northumbria as an inspiring place to visit. .
