Church Trail at All Saints Church Banstead

A project was undertaken to provide an Arts Society Church Trail aimed at children aged 8-12 but it fact suitable for people of all ages. The trail guides the participants round the church looking at the architecture, history and furnishings. A corresponding answer sheet is provided for accompanying adults. The aim is to encourage both children and adults to explore the building, to learn about it.

The Church Trail group consists of the then Young Arts representative, Jo Woodward, with other members of CAS, two of whom are Church Recorders as well, and a member of the Church PCC. The Trail was prepared and tested by groups of children before being launched.
